PT-7M Titanium(ПТ-7М) is a near-alpha titanium alloy developed under Russian GOST standards. It contains approximately 2% aluminum and 2–3% zirconium, with trace amounts of iron, carbon, silicon, nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen. The alloy’s microstructure is primarily alpha titanium with excellent ductility, weldability, and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for thin-walled and welded structures. It exhibits moderate strength (≈ 480–680 MPa), high elongation (15–30%), and low density (4.49 g/cm³). PT-7M is easily deformable both at room and elevated temperatures, and annealing in the α-region maintains its mechanical balance. The alloy resists corrosion in marine, chemical, and high-temperature aqueous environments due to the stable TiO₂ oxide film it forms.

PT-7M Titanium (also known as Ti-2.2Al-2.7Zr) is a titanium alloy known for its superior strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. This alloy contains a combination of titanium, aluminum, and zirconium, giving it exceptional properties that make it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
Typical applications include chemical apparatus, marine structures, and components in nuclear or heat-exchange systems. However, it is not suitable for high-strength load-bearing parts and must be protected from hydrogen embrittlement. Overall, PT-7M combines light weight, formability, and corrosion resistance, prioritizing durability over maximum strength.
